Dial has 400 degrees as the highest printed temp. Having used this
skillet for several months now I view it as the best electric skillet
I've owned. The fact that every thing but the electric temp insert is
dishwasher safe is a reall boone...no more greasy fry pan feel. It
transports to church suppers beautifully as well as to the table. Even
heat over the entire cooking service and a thermostate that is sensitive
and keeps it at an even temperature....
